Our beloved Sky Serpent died little more than three months past and we still mourn its cruel murder, for it cannot be doubted that this was murder. It was with us but a short time but in that time blessed us greatly. Its daughters live on and are cared for by kind-hearted souls in our community who seek to protect what Nature has given us.

A Temple of Night has been established within the Sky Temple to allow all those who mourn its passing - and the passing of many others - to gather and share their grief. Please visit and express your sorrows, for tears are a small sacrifice to show faith.

The body of the Sky Serpent is to be kept in the Night Temple whilst it feeds its young and thus is returned to the Sky in the glorious cycle of death and rebirth that we all know. This ritual formed large part of the funeral rites, whilst prayer in its usual cacophony was muted to a murmur and quiet song. We pray that the Sky bless its soul that it may safely reenter the cycle. We pray that the Sky continue to shine its blessings upon us.

We must defend not only our beliefs, not only our way of life, but the way of the planet, Nature itself.
