Thanks to the work of many Bureaucrats and with the assistance of many outside our faction, a place has been found for our new settlement to be founded, to the North-East of the city (or the Water district, or Sector 1, depending on your chosen terminology). Preparations are now underway for building this settlement, with the hopes that we can be ready to move in before winter hits.

Those interested in the planning of this new city should speak to Finley Price who will be drawing up the designs for this new settlement shortly, similarly those who wish to stake a claim on a particular spot should talk to him. Obviously the faction at large and the Ministry of Construction will be prioritising building essential facilities first. He is also happy to let the rest of us decide on what the settlement will be named, so those of us with good ideas should submit those to him soon.

The Ministry of Agriculture will be starting work on some fields. Since they are the only plants confirmed to be edible, we will be trying to cultivate Cloverleaf and King's Seeds. The river near this new settlement should even provide the opportunity for basic irrigation. Anyone who knows of more edible plants or even wants to make a start on catching and breeding animals should contact the Ministry to get involved.

The Ministry of Exploration will be starting expeditions to scout the land around our new settlement, in particular looking for useful natural resources we may not have originally spotted. This is a mission not open to those who are not Bureaucrats, since whatever we do find may give us bargaining power.

I just want to say that we have such a stake in this project, and I really trust you all to see it through. It's not going to be easy. This is an important first step in rebuilding, and I'm so proud of how everyone is pulling together. Don't lose that sense of unity and teamwork, because we're going to need it. - Sophia Day

The Ministry of Information have made excellent progress in persuading the Neighborhood Watch to abide by a set of laws, which we help determine. It's important that we build on this momentum and start offering to take some of the workload off their upper management and allow them to do all the criminal catching that they so love, while we worry about the details. - Sophia Day

With some of the debris removed and the way cleared, it is now much easier to travel from the centre of monument to the site of our new settlement.
