The acid rain seems to not have been particularly damaging, although it seems to have weakened some buildings. Be even more weary of partially collapsed structures, as they are likely to be even more unstable.
We thank those people, both those who are part of the Movement and those who are not, who worked tirelessly to reinforce our shelters and hospitals against this rain, and warning people of its approach.
The question of proper and prompt disposal of those who unfortunately could not be saved at the hospital has come up, mainly because the room the bodies were kept until they could be disposed of has been set aflame by some madwoman. Thankfully no one was harmed as far as we know, but perhaps we should look to securing the hospitals from those who would wish to harm our doctors and patients.
Congratulations to Dr Martin Fuller, who has decided to sacrifice some of his valuable time to represent us before the Bureaucrats' latest scheme, a Council of the major groups of Monument. We wish him the best of luck in keeping the Council's priorities straight and ensuring the well-being of us all lie in their interests.
The council representative for Sector 1 is George Mentham, father of Piper Mentham (the Bureaucrat who created the council and tallied the votes) and grandfather of Guinevere Mentham (the Bureaucrats' representative).
There have been rumours circulating that a restaurant is being opened soon near the road that the Bureaucrats call the Primary Arterial. Gordon is excited about this, and thinks it's a great idea to open up more of them. he would like someone to get on that.
