The Neighbourhood Watch - Turn 9 News

Thanks to Apollo and Fire Blanket, our laws have undergone review. Make sure you familiarise yourself with them. Especially of note is that you no longer have leave to do whatever you want to those who have committed crimes. They are still protected by the Law. As it stands, Apollo remains the appointed Judge to preside over criminal proceedings.

While most of the Watch seem happy enough with the reforms, a small number have voiced discontent, although seem willing to at least see how things turn out.

Starchild Assassinated

If what has been said about her recent activities is true, it is doubtful that many of us will miss Starchild, but the fact remains that a citizen of Monument was shot. While the recent changes to the Law were not in effect at the time, it is clear that the individual who carried this out is highly dangerous regardless. We will discuss how to proceed at the next meeting.

Reptilian Menace

Our patrols still seem to be the subject of scrutiny from some kind of well camouflaged stalker. If these are the same reptilian creatures people have reported encountering, then they're growing a lot more brazen, even raiding areas on the outskirts of Monument for food and other basic supplies wherever they can get away with it.

We need to stop letting them get away with it.

Noneapple... Arrested?

The citizen known as Toilets approached the Watch and revealed herself to be Noneapple, formerly thought dead. Noneapple has claimed responsibility for all crimes committed in the Fire Cult's name, including burning someone alive and several acts of arson. The Watch will need to investigate the veracity of these claims and decide her punishment in accordance with the Law.

Unchained in Exile

A number of former Bureaucrats, now revealed as belonging to the Unchained, were arrested for deliberate sabotage of the Bureaucracy from within. Their actions, which crippled the Ministries of Health and Exploration, were deemed to have put a number of people at risk and caused a shortage of food and medical supplies.

Those involved, including 30% Discount and Zara Dean, are no longer allowed within Monument, to be enforced by the Neighbourhood Watch. They have now been relocated to the caves from which the Unchained claim to hail.
