“My Favourite Historical Person by Carla Evans, Aged 10
“Jasminder 100% Chatterji Cotton is a hisstorical person. She was part of the Nieghbourhood Watch - that's the police before there were real police - and she is very interesting. She is my favourite person in history because she helped to protect a lot of people but some people say she was bad because they did not want her to protect them. However, I think they were bad because they did not want her to help them and that means they were probably Criminal Scum.
“She is most famous for starting two gangs but this is actually not true. She only started one gang because the other gang were trying to kill her. They are called Team Red and Team Blue and Jasminder was on Team Red. Team Blue wanted to kill Team Red because they wanted their things which is Criminal. Therefore, Jasminder was right to start Team Red to kill them and the Nieghbourhood Watch agreed because they arrested Mia, the leader of Team Blue, and exquted executed her. That is why the police should arrest Team Blue today and leave Team Red alone.
“Also a reason she is really good is that she knew about the Teardrops before anyone else. She arrested Pearl - who was an evil Teardrop then - years before the Cold War. And she was the person who arrested helped kill Afia Nakato who was the evil leader of the Teardrops.
“Another reason she is not bad is that she suffered a lot of brain damage and she forgot a lot more than most people but she was still one of the best heroes ever.
“Finally another reason she is very cool is that she was a super good fighter and had tattoos all over her. She even fighted in the Thunderdome once and it was very impressive. When I am older I want to be really good at fighting and have a machete and a laser gun and also have a lot of tattoos.

“The the first graveyard of Monument itself is simple but it contains one of the most striking pieces of architecture in the City. Though not one twentieth of the height of our skyscrapers, this gravestone still towers above the others in the yard, at about six foot high. It is the shape of a jagged shard and dark red, with the now infamous 'Team Red' tattoos curving all the way up the sides, creating complex and beautiful patterns.
“Though many have argued the design is too garrish and not in keeping with the rest of the graveyard, others have said that a gravestone should be judged as a reflection of a person and it has been agreed that this dramatic and sharp affair, dividing citizens, is a perfect mirror of the woman it is dedicated to. Perhaps that is what all architecture should do.”
