Her Sector Four might have been vacated, but Rafael’s followers remain ever-faithful. When they return to the new settlement, they resolve once again to bring their city as close as it can be to Nature, and to live their lives in harmony with the elements that brought them into being. Those of the Sons, Daughters and Children she’s gotten through to over the years now have a way they can look to the future.

Every so often, they come to thank her for all she’s done, finding her tending to the animals. They don’t know how to respond on the day she tells them – a wistful look in her eye – that she could never get through to the people who mattered most.
